Fukami Gojuno-to or formally named Jojuzan Daikenji Temple located in Ajimu-cho, Sada City, Oita Pref. was constructed in 1983 by the donation of the late Sadaki Itonaga, a successful business man from this town, to express his gratitude to his birthplace. He also constructed and donated the museum and a hot spring house adjacent to Gojuno-to and the facilities are called Yufu Welfare Center in all. Gojuno-to is built out of wood but the internal structure is reinforced by steel-frame. The statue of Buddha and Nio (guardian god) are place inside the pagoda, which is open to public once a year. In the precinct of the temple are a statue of Kannon (10 m tall) made of granite stone and the hall housing the statue of Buddha that was placed at original Daikenji Temple, which was flourished in this town in the Kamakura period (1192-1333).
